Let’s Light Up Lima

We had an overnight stay in Lima, and there was an opportunity to go into town after dinner to see the light show at this park where there are a lot of fountains. The show is called Circuito Magica de Agua.

It did not disappoint. Before the show started at the main set of fountains, we walked through the park looking at all of the other single fountains. Many were lit up in different colors. One of the crowd favorites was the water tunnel. You walk under an arced cascade of water. Fun!!

After the water fountain show, we drove back to the ship and passed through one of the main squares in town. It was pretty all lit up at night.

The beginning of the light show's main event.  I believe it depicted the story of Peru.

Part of the main plaza.  This is the cathedral which takes up nearly one whole side of the plaza.

A view across the plaza.

This is the water tunnel!!

One of the few non-water exhibits in the park.

Isn't this cool?

A pyramid of water and lights!
