The day looked halfway promising, weather-wise. Eidfjord is a small port at the end of a fjord with a population of only 900 people. And they were all quite friendly. Another ship, the Viking Sky, I believe, was also in the port. It's also a smallish cruise ship just like our Prinsendam.
I had a private tour booked with TideBuss which took us out to the Hardangervidda nature center, a very scenic drive around the lake, and a drive up to the Voringsfossen waterfall. Pictures in next post.
But first Snort and I met some new friends in town.
